WE FULLY SUPPORT THE BURNRIGHT CAMPAIGN ->
The Burnright campaign is being brought to the forefront by Chimney Sweeps across the UK, I am proud to be one of them. We, as Chimney Sweeps have a unique opportunity to help educate our customers on the correct use of the stove, making sure the right fuel is being used and that the customer has good burning habits. This will help reduce polution and help you get more from your appliance.
CLEAN AIR STRATEGY.
CLEAN AIR STRATEGY 2018 ->
The Clean air strategy depicts some of the causes and corrolations of air polution in the UK, in particular the use of solid fuel appliances such as open fires and wood burning stoves. A consultation was carried out to identify solutions to lower polution in the UK. With legislation being introduced for more efficent stoves and the withdrawl of some more polluting fuels from sale. This will go someway to help the situation in the long term, but the overiding concensus appears to be that, as a chimney sweep we are best placed to educate our customers on the correct way to use their stoves and get the most from their appliance whilst minimising the excess polution they can inadvertantly be creating.
